Empowering, connecting, promoting... mapping the future.

About us

We are a non-profit organization, working with our members, volunteers, service providers, government agencies and the private sector, helping society to build a multicultural community in Porvoo and Itä-Uusimaa area.

Our services are delivered through counseling and advocacy, providing tools to the integration process in between established Finns and foreigners achieving life quality goals.

We are providing programs of support and multicultural development for the community, so that intercultural life in Porvoo and Itä-Uusimaa becomes a plus for all the citizens and the Finnish society. We also assist to immigrants from different countries or areas of Finland, to promote networking.

Our everyday work is to plan and organize programs to increase interest for local and foreign cultures, coaching in dance, food, sports, music and other cultural expressions for personal and professional development workshops. This association is welcoming and independent of any political, religious or ideological group.

Projects

With our projects we want to contribute for a multicultural community development, from the beggining and step by step. Our projects are:

Promoting multiculturalism

We promote multiculturalism in Porvoo and Itä-Uusimaa areas, enabling people to interchange various elements of their cultures. Multiculturalism greatly facilitates community development and progress. By advancing in cultural exchange, new ideas come to offer more services and products.

Inclusion programs for newcomers

We believe that with learning from each other, Finns and new comers, it is possible to give back to society the investment in integration assistance programs from the government and the private sector. We offer personalized coaching and mentoring to influence an independent personal development.

Connecting and empowering people

We are coaching our volunteers with the necessary skills, so they can become multicultural community development coaches. They are empowered to instruct others in their same mother tongue for them to also learn and develop skills to keep empowering other people in the community.

Meetings

The Association's members and general public are welcome to join our informative meetings to hear about our projects. Meetings are also open for those who come looking for a hand to develop their ideas or put them to work together with us.
